Odd discomfort in testicle, penis and urethra.

i am having roughly exactly the same symptoms, guess I'm an older fella compared to you guys, I'm 55. Started a couple of weeks ago with a bit of redness behind what was left of my foreskin ( circumcised as a  kid) panicked and went to the std clinic,  male nurse thought it may be herpes but the test came back negative. Just waiting on the blood test but I doubt it's anything hopefully

Uncomforatble to sit down, better stood up, head of the penis feels tender inside your pants but oddly not when you touch it. Keep having to shuffle it around lol.Feels like someone's got a Xmas tree inside, no discharges, when sat down keep having to shuffle about to get comfortable, it all just feels so sensitive, dull ache has started now. Tried a candida pill earlier this week but no real difference to date and also tried canesten cream on the head. Once I rule out any type of Std I'm going to start proceedings with the doc but from what I've read this doesn't seem to be easily diagnosable. At my age some sort of prostate  issue seems most likely. I'll keep you posted

I hv same symptoms from 5 years now but when it gets aggravated i take some antibiotic or anti allergic both work for some days then again it comes back. Doctors do not believe me they put me on anti depressants which also work for short periods. Everything works for shprt periods onle. Confused as what to do

Hello guys, I totally feel for you, I've been going thru the same thing for about 2 months now, been test for Chlamydia and gonorrhea and everything came back negative. I've been to 2 urologist and they are both saying that I have nothing and I should just wait it off.

After doing a lot of research I think i have an answer, 90% i think that this caused by Ureaplasma urealyticum, and/or Mycoplasma genitalium. Doctors usually don't test for this since it's a relatively new STI and doesn't not grow in cultures so specific testing needs to be done, there are now bacterial DNA tests that could be done to confirm this, on this note both bacteria can be easily treated with Antibiotics a study was done and found that a single dose of azithromycin 1g (87% success rate) or azithromycin 500mg day + 250mg day 2-5 (95% success rate) will treat the condition.

I am going back to my urologist to asks if he could do those tests and go from there. It is extremely helpful to take the medication a the same time with your sexual partner if you have one to prevent re-occurrence. will keep you posted 

I have used Erythromycin for 30 days ( 4 tabs a day) without success. I was relieved for a while and the last week, it intensified.. I have used other antibiotics in the past even antivitals and it never cured me. Also, when i have the flare up, i have severe itching also on my scalp.. Don't know what else to do with this infection...

Hey guys, read this topic I kinda feel I have the same sort of symptoms as most of you.  Been going on for a year or more now, what happened was had sex with this girl and the condom broke, next day felt different then the prior. There were pains in testicle, urethra as well as pelvis.  I also felt dizzy when standing up (this currently has cleared).  Doctor took piss test and STI were negative, he prescribed pills to relieve Testiclitst which helped but, pain (burning) in urethra was still there.  Went to family doctor (took another piss sample (negitive) and she referred me to urologist who didn't think much of it and prescribed anibiotics, they seemed like they dumed the pain a bit for 3 days but then the pills didnt do anything for me, some days there were more pain than others, I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and they prescribed (I asked the urologist what it was as he said a type of Steroid) it helped take away most of the pain in the urethra.  This is driving me nuts as well and I'm eager to what you find out ATL

Symptoms are currently when penis is not erect the shaft of the penis feels hard (before it was just soft all the time) feels itchy around head and inside urethra (as other posted stated like a xmas tree), no feeling in testicles for the urge to urinate, when drinking alcohol, i constant have to urinate, urine sometimes smells and when erect I have a ring around the middle of my shaft of penis and its red all the way up to the head, there are some red spots around head of penis (herpes was ruled out as well) anyone else having any of these?  I feel like its an bactrial infection thats causing the problems since STI is ruled out.  I had torsion when I was younger and it was corrected so that is out of the window, but I've also have had a history of rare bladder infections.

what happed with these therapies? did they work for you?

 it seems like we have all got some new bacterial bug that has not been encountered much. but the speed of this blog and updates shows that it is probably a new subtle bug that has not been researched. For it to evade the radar of doctors for so long, but be a chronic problem makes me believe so.

I have all the same symptoms now for 2 years. my doc told me that it was stress, which I find to be stupid. why would stress create a problem so locally? If you have such a problem from stress for so long that it creates pain in a specific region, by that time other parts should have broken down as well. you would also expect obesity, heart problems etc.

hey guys what the heck do we have? i am going insane, been on 6 or 7 different antibiotic with nothing helping me. this is terrible! PLEASE HELP

Update on my previous post, doc is currently treating me for prostatitis however I can't find any listed symptoms that are causing this issue with my penis. I can't stand it in my pants constantly having to adjust , try to get comfortable, it just feels totally hypersensitive but not in a good way. Did a month on ciprafloxacin , no improvement and currently half way through a course of ofloxacin but no note able improvement. Dr referred be to a urologist who ordered a ultrasound scan and a cystocopy ( not looking forward to that) this is on Friday 7th December so ill keep you posted of he results

Current symptoms, glans hypersensitivity, seems like its swelling from time to time and also feels cold. Dull pain in the shaft but the thing that bothers me the most is having to wear any clothes at all that touches it . Opening to the urethra feels " open" and "exposed" is the only way I can put it like someone is poking in there, no pain when urinating and no discharges, it's totally depressing and debilitating. 

Small world. I have been suffering from the same symptons as everyone else on here for almost two years now. I get some relief when I run or go to the gym and workout. I have tried everything under the sun prescription and over the counter. Testicles ache, anus burns, tip of the pee-pee stings. Sometimes it seems like I can feel the hairs growing on my testicles....that is just how sensitive it is. I have good days and bad days. I can take a hot soak bath....nothing but hot water, it helps, but when I get out of the tub my penis tip starts burning. I even went as far to get circumsized thinking maybe that was the problem....didn't help. Have seen many doctors, all can find nothing worng. No infections, nothing. Have had blood in my semen a few times, but was told that was normal. My PSA was 2.3, all urine and blood work came out fine. No problems at night.....when I get up and get dressed it starts to act up. Sometimes I can be standing and I will feel a jolt shooting from the tip of my penis straight into either testicle. I have had several ultra sounds, cystoscope, IVP's, kidney xrays. I have had one kidney stone about a year ago (we won't go there).  Wish I had an answer for all of you.?

Yeah Roaster, I have basically the exact same symptoms, I'm going to my doctor in a week and I'm going to ask for any of these following antibiotics as by doing research these have helped cure it. I wrote some notes down for all to see, I apologize if you know this already, but we are all in this together so let's beat it. Monoflox (500) is supposedly the last thing you want it's really potent from what I read so there may be better options out there than this. Azithromycin, if that's not helping get an extended course of Doxycycline. Doxy seems like the most popular, but also I've read that Tetracycline or Erythomycin is the better option, I'm not a doctor, I'm just like you all searching for a answer. I'll keep you all posted as well.

Was prescribed Doxy, for a week period and my doctor told me if it was working to fill the prescription to take for a longer period. I will keep you all updated on my progress
