I'm 33 I've had numerous surgeries including an extensive back surgery where they deflated my lung & moved my heart & it was not I repeat was not as bad as the pain from my tonsillectomy. It's like I can get no relief. I've lost 7lbs in 9 days. Im on day 9 now. My tongue has 2 really big sores on both sides & they have the same color as my throat like they sprayed it w/the same stuff. I was feeling better after day 5 but come day 6 I was knocked on my butt again from all the pain. Right now my ears, tongue & gums hurt more than my throat. But im still on pain med. I found that children's liquid advil helped from day 3-5 but does nothing now. All I know is that it better have been worth all this pain. My tonsil were very infected & the ent said they should've been out when I was 12. I just sure hope it will help. I kept strep. I had it 6 times from jan 14 to march 14. All I can say is if you have 2 have it done I hope you get some rlly great pain medicine. Im on day 9 & still sleeping in a recliner cause I feel like im chocking 2 death when I lay down.
