I'm on day 10 of having a tonsillectomy and adeniodectomy. The first 2-3 days wasn't so bad I could talk and drink a lot of water but I couldn't eat anything up until about day 6 I'm still having trouble eating can only eat little things without getting chocked and it hurting my throat insanely bad. Starting on day 5 I have been having severe pain in my ears that makes my head feel like it's going to explode all I could do is lay down and cry cause nothing would take the pain away. Using an ice pack on my throats helped a little after the 4th day I couldn't talk anymore cause it was so painful and when I do talk I sound funny. I had someone come up to me and start signing one day cause they thought I was deaf and was just trying to pretend that I wasn't by the way I was talking like who really pretends there not deaf. On day 9 the pain is finally starting to go away some but hurts to swallow and now my tongue is raw and has white patches all over it
