Hi all,

I am just wanting advice and reassurance. For the past 10 weeks now I have been having really bad anxety. It started as I was driving home and I had a panic attack. I thought I was having a stroke etc. From then on I am conviced there is something wrong with me. I thougt I was having a heart attack, I goit checked out and my heart is fine. I then moved on to that i must be having a stroke, I have tingles and burning sensation on my left side of my face. I have felt dizzy, lightheadedness, feel like im being pulled forward. I have tingles in my legs and arms the usual. Then I had another panic attack and again I am having the same symptoms. I feel I am going to die all the time with a stroke and hemerage and all i do is research on these illnesses, I have research that much I can teach it. I am now scared of driving, I am obsessed with the gym as I dont want high blood pressure and if i am honest im just exhausted with myself. can anyone releate to this. also i have had a headache for 3 weeks now, since my last panic attack. I feel like getting drunk all the time as that is the only time i feel at ease. When I go to the gym and work all the stress out, my headache goes. My doctor has said I have anxety and gave me a leaflet (Great!!! not!!) If anyone can help, please do so. Thank you.

I am not a doctor but can advise you to try Yoga and meditation. This will surely help!

Hey Mikey,

What happened 10 weeks ago? Presumably something relatively significant in your life?

Before I say any more I'll just add this one point. You WILL be ok. A lot of people suffer from anxiety and panic attacks that range from mild to severe.

From what you said here and how you feel, it sounds like you might very well have some depression also. I suggest seeking a second opinion from a different doctor, or if you feel like you can only go to the doctor you saw last time, speak to him about the possibility of depression and medication to assist you in controlling the symptoms of both anxiety and depression.

Hope this helps and let me know how you get on. Send me a message if you want to.
