started taking vicodin 1 time a day then two and  years later been up to 4 5 mg or sometimes 5 pills a day.

it was for a tootache and bck pain but thats not the case now, been taking it to control depression and mood . omn antoidepressents and no help from them..Oh alaso on klonopin abou 4 mg a day for anxiety..

I know many are on more but this messes my moods,I am older anbd have lifelong emotional issues and now feel the vicodin helps short term but hurts me in the long term, makes you angry etc..

OK the question is.. is suboxene a help to get off the vicodin or is it for people on much stronger doses of pain pills?

I have heard bad things about suboxone. I think you are on a fairly low dose and if you cut your dose in half and then stop, you should be okay. I heard (could be totally wrong) that you get flagged if your doc prescribes suboxone. I have also heard that suboxone can be habit forming as well so it might be like dropping one thing for the other. I am not an expert by any means, but I think you will be okay by cutting the dose in half and then maybe even taking just one a day after that for a couple of days and then stopping altogether.

Opiate is a opiate, so what it sounds like is that you need a detox and fast! My best suggestion is find yourself a inpatient detox and then some type of treatment thereafter. They will help you will all of your issues and get you weaned off the opiates or even other meds if need be! I could sit here and tell you all the little quick fixes for being in withdrawal but that would not be very good advice at all would it?If you truly want off them, then you need to start somewhere, and somewhere that will help you, not hinder you!! Good Luck and I hope you will seek some medical help!
