About two months ago I started getting heart palpitations. I'm 30 years old. I'm 6 feet tall and thin. I've never had any heart conditions in the past and don't take any medications. I lightly exercise regularly, but don't do any high intensity cardio. Unlike what I've read about other people's experiences, my palpitations are just one strong heartbeat every once in a while. They seem to occur mainly when I sit down. Something about sitting down gets them started. They will usually happen every few minutes or so and then might stop for hours. When I first get up for the day they will not happen until I sit down. They also seem to happen more when I sit down after eating. Ive seen my doctor and had blood work done. The only thing that was abnormal was a high vitamin B12. I thought the palpitations might be somehow tied in with gerd or something similar, so I've started cleaning up my diet and just started chewing DGL licorice before meals and taking slippery elm between meals. I was mainly wondering if anyone else had palpitations that were similar to mine as opposed to the constant strong beats that most people seem to feel. Thanks in advance for any help from anyone that has dealt with the same situation.
