Read through the chat. There are a few ladies that have had success with natural products, change in diet, etc. I'm one. After 5 yrs of bleeding, the last 8 months I've been normal with a normal cycle and no abnormal blood anymore. My doctors couldn't explain, but I could. Prayer, change of diet and natural products.

my daughter is only 11 years old and woke up to a pool of blood and clots, this was ongoing for a month back and forth to the emergency room and a pediatric OBGYN. She was filling up and overnight pad every hour. Might I add she is in school and actively playing in sports. This was very embarrassing and uncomfortable for her. Her social life has came to a stop. She was still having heavy bleeding with clots and they had her taking the pill (she took 4 a day). Yes the blood clots had stopped and the bleeding slowed down a little. But my insurance was not allowing me to keep refilling her prescription over and over. Blood test and ultra sounds all turned out ok. She is so young and was very uncomfortable with the pap. We finally had an IUD placed and was told the bleeding would come to a stop after a month. It has been over a year now and she is still bleeding everyday as if she was on a normal period. I have no idea what else I can do for her, I hate to see her going through all this at such a young age. I am asking anyone if they have any other ideas or suggestion of another route that we can try.

I know how your daughter feels, my mother found me in a pool of blood when I was 11 years old, she thought I had been stabbed with a knife or shot in my sleep, she shoved me in the shower so fast I didn't know what was happening. Tell her to hang in there the pills will help I know they did me and I'm sorry about your insurance I know it can get costly.

I know that sounds really insensitive, but I hope you all understand how scary it is thinking you're the only one with this. I've been on my period for 19months now with no breaks and it is exhausting.
I'm currently 24 and when I started my periods at 16 I would only have about 2 a year. Then I had the implant (in my arm) and it started the 'Red River of Doom'. Since then I've had the Depo injection on its own and then combined with the Pill to try and reduce it. The doctors are flummoxed and just keep saying they don't know. I have a month and half left of my Pill to take before I need to go back, under the understanding of "if it's stopped then I'll examine your womb, if not then we'll have to see what to do next". I'm so, so tired and frustrated. It was mentioned that I had a little bit on anemia as well but you can see on my pale face that I'm exhausted. It's also been mentioned by numerous people who don't know my condition - only my nearest and dearest do - that it looks like I have black eyes. My boyfriend has been understanding but it's not fair on us not having that part of our relationship - we're young and want to enjoy it. You sort of feel robbed of your life a little, you know?
I don't have any answers for people as I'm in the "we don't know what's going on" boat, but I just wanted to be another voice on this thread. I will look up those amazon products listed by another user, but I worry that the main problem gets ignored if I do. Me and my partner want to have babies next year, something we desperately want but feels like a fading hope sometimes...
Thank you for your stories ladies, it really has helped relieve my feelings of isolation. I'll keep popping back onto this thread and if any progress happens my way then I'll let you all know.
