For quite some time, I have been experiencing pain by the navel. It appears suddenly and it hurts exactly just a little bit above my belly button. I tried to point a finger to certain food groups but the pain doesn’t show up after I eat but it shows up randomly. Any ideas what could hurt in here? Thank you

Only your doctor can determine what this pain could be. Pain in this area may be indicating stomach problems, small intestine problems, pancreas or gallbladder.
In order to know for sure, you need to have your stool checked and if it doesn’t show anything, you may have to under go an endoscopy, or sigmoidoscopy or other tests that could determine where the pain is coming from. Considering the pain is persistent, I wouldn’t wait much longer. I hope everything turns out well.
