For several months I dealt with a sinus infection on and off...it finally cleared up but now after a CT scan of my sinuses it appears I have hypertrophy of the turbinates. I've been getting stabbing pains in my temples and on top of my head and also get painful feelings on my eyebrows. I went to the dentist and I have to have to my wisdom teeth removed...could this be a cause of my pain in relation to the turbinate hypertrophy? I do have a cross-bite and notice my jaw clicks a lot when I open it or yawn...could be TMJ? I take Tylenol and Advil but they don't seem to relieve the pain much.
I'm most worried about the head pains as I suffer from anxiety so I tend to really worry about things.

Hello! I am experiencing much the same!..
I have been diagnosed with Chronic Accute Sinusitis and have been on antibiotics for some time to clear this up. In addition to this my doctor had me on a 5 day course of steroids (which I finished 2 days ago). I am 5 weeks pregnant at the moment, and although the sinusitis appears to be getting better, I have had these THROBBING (constant) pains in my temples for the past 2 1/2 weeks. I have also been experiencing severe chills for the past two weeks and muscle spasms / tightnesses / weaknesses all over my body. My doctor is sending me for a Vitamin B12 test as well as a few other blood tests. I'd like to know if you think my dcotor is on the right track, or if there could be a type of infection in my temples? it hurts so much that I can barely function.. I also had viral meningitis when I was a child. Could this re-occur? thank you in advance.. if someone could please kindly email me if they have any information that may help me, I would very much appreciate it! thank you! Jodie -
