ive been get sharp stabbing pains in my temples sometimes its both other times its only in one it happens will suddenly and only lasts a few seconds anyone have any thoughts on what it could be also my mother and two other people on her side of the family had aneurysm im not sure id thats helpful or not but id thought i put it in thanks

I'm having the same thing and it has been mild since I've been in my 20's n I'm now 49. Everytime I'd get stressed it would happen then a month ago, it was 2 lightning bolts of pain..man, that was it, I thought. I'm done. But I went into emergency and they gave me a CAT scan...nothing. The doctor seems to think its a nerve disorder in the face and I looked it up online. 2 very long words. It just happened again 2 min ago so I'm gonna make an appt w/a neurosurgeon I think. When it happens, my right eye is not as open or bright as usual. I also feel like I'm confused when its super strong and I feel I've missed a whole day.

Yea thats exactly how it feels i think ill see if my doctor can refer me to a neurosurgeon and see whats going on
