I forget the actual diagnoses; but it is "syndrome" due to a mix of stimulants, exhaustion, stress, and lack of sleep. Use MAYLOX.. the cherry liquid form is fine, swish and swallow. I was in so much pain I couldn't speak let alone swallow, but Maylox changes the PH in the bumps and your back to good.
If I don't sleep a night they come back but not as bad... sometimes on lips or gums too. But my doc assured me that the first is the worst.

Hi Jen,
I keep getting these when i stay up all night doing essays or studying or whatever, and I thought it was just from staying up and/or dehydration, but reading what you said I just realized that it MUST be from the adderall. I've been prescribed for a long time as well, but i only really take them when i need them (for stuff like that i guess). But that makes complete sense. It's only when i take a lot of my adderall.
You have them all the time though?!?!? I wish there was a medical answer for this... :(

Someone who wrote that they get them from "adderall", I've never taken that or any kind of stimulant but PLEASE help....I don't know what to do. It's Saturday and can't go to the doctor but the entire front of my tongue is swollen and a few days ago I noticed this white bump and now I have at least 4 of them. I thought it was bc I have epilepsy and bit my tongue having seizues nights ago, but this is nowhere near the same as biting a chunk of the side of it having a seizure. I'm. scared bc, should I go to the hospital?? They've gotten worse, my tongue is so swollen and I try to drink water thinking it will cool the burning down but it burns worse. I tried anbesol and it felt like friggin' fire, pls. anyone who can help...whether it's best for me to go to the hospital, which I hate, or let it go on...it just seems to get worse, can't eat, can't sleep. Any help, comments I would be more than greatful. Thank you in advance....

I had the same thing and it turned out to be a yeast infection or 'thrush' mouth. If you have a white creamy film on the tongue, that is definitely it. If not, then it could be a vitamin deficiency or cold sores. Washing the mouth out with peroxide does wonders. It's best to see a doctor if symptoms persist because recovery is generally long and painful. I hope this helps you.
