I have a similar issue however the hard ball in my ear will move around. Sometimes it is in the lobe and other times it is on the top of the year. I can take my fingers and move it from place to place. I decided to move it out of the way and pushed it into my ear because I wouldn't be distracted by it. Now I am having a hard time hearing in my left year and it looks like the earhole is blocked. Sometimes there is a chirping sound but I am not sure if it is in my ear or if it is just my pet parakeet teasing me about the situation. I ordered some scalpels from Amazon and also have plenty of aspirin that I will take because I think it might hurt. My plan is to cut the ball out. I wish I can go to the doctor but I have no insurance. Last time I had a small problem on my nose and I was able to fix it and the scars are not that bad. I was able to learn how to stitch a wound when I fixed my nose and now I will use those skills inside my ear. Please wish me luck. I am going to donate my parakeet before I do this so I can confirm where the sounds are coming from.

Ok so I noticed a squishy mass in my right earlobe not too long ago. I have gauged my ears out but I have always been very careful and never skipped sizes. I have noticed acrylic annoys my ears but I haven't had a reaction like this before. It's hot red and really really sore. Now I'm thinking it's one of those cysts but I don't wanna make my parents pay for it on top of the 2 major hip surgeries I had over the summer. I'm really worried and wonder if I could numb my ear with ice and just shove a sterilized needleb through it and hope it drains?

Yeah. I had one that was the size of a grape also. It was INSANE. I think my doctor enjoyed popping it. When he popped it I felt this amazing sensation of a decrease in pressure in my right earlobe. But a year later it came back, not as big but I think it was an infection so I had to go in for surgery for them to remove it. They cut my earlobe open and now I have a terrible scar. I'm not too happy about the scar but what can you do. I think it's been about a year after I had the second cysts removed through surgery but guess what? It's back again and I'm extremely upset. I barely have any earlobe left so I don't know what will happen if they have to remove it again. All I can do is hope for the best and maybe this time it will just go away on its own. For anybody else with this problem just know your not alone.

I have a very big lump on my left ear as well. Its purple and soft/ squishy. I managed to get rid of it by ripping it (is sore but it wouldnt pop) and puss started gushing out of it. it went back to normal size but still lets out puss and blood. It is really painful but goes away after about 20 minutes. Use antiseptic lotion on the open lump so that it can kill the bacteria. Leave it on overnight and it will harden. it eventially goes back to normal.

I have one as well and usually all it is, is an infection or tissue build up. it takes a few years to go away (or in some peoples cases up to 7 years, sucks i know) so it shouldnt be anything too serious. if it is worrying you, please go to a doctor! small things like these are nothing to worry about unless your doctor finds something wrong. im encouraging you to leave it alone as much as u can and not try to fix it on your own, things like these can get worse by irritating it. it sometimes relieves pain by putting a warm washcloth over it and applying NO pressure. The lumps sometimes changes sizes and thats normal too. these lumps are often caused by a closed earpeircing (like mine) or just an infection. Dont let all the tumor stuff worry you. if you need to, go to a plastic surgeon so they can remove it. If it comes back, its probably an infection deep in the tissue where they cant get to and if it soesnt come back then who cares? its gone now and no harm was done. The surgery takes only 15-30 minutes tops and at a little cost. Nothing to worry about just dont irritate it more! Good luck! :

I have a rather small blackish-blue lump on the back of both my ear lobes, next to my piercing and ,when I try to put my earrings in, if it touches the lump, it will begin to sting and I need to take them out and try again. I find this extremely annoying and painful so what should I do??? I do not want to have surgery or anything like that so is there any natural ways?

The "big ball" is most likely the inside of the ear being pushed out the back. This is more common with ear stretching due to impatience of waiting time between stretches. Your cause could be more from the initial piercing. Was it pierced with a hollow needle and clamps done by a professional piercer or was this done with a piercing gun? Piercing guns are the number one cause of problems with piercings because, again, it pushes the skin from the inside out through the other side.
I suggest to rub vitamin e or jojoba oil on it to get rid of it naturally (if you haven't already done anything about it.)

If that doesn't help within the next year, go get a professional piercer to pierce over the hole with a hollow needle to take out the excess skin. Using vitamin e on this piercing will help the skin grow back over the hole and close it inward.

18g piercing hole (standard sized) would likely produce skin about the size of a 14g needle, so I suggest you to seek a professional, although this could be done even at home if necessary. 14g piercing kits are sold on amazon for about $8
