I have a lump in my ear and it feels like a rock. I can shift it around if I want. It's been there the past...3(?) days. And I tend to mess with it. Help?

Hey guys! I have had a problem with this stuff for a while. Ever since I got my ears pierced (a little over a year ago) there have been small lumps in my ears. there's a small one in the left lobe which is not inflamed and does not hurt at all. Although, on the right lobe there is a big mass in the lobe, which is very painful to touch. It has never been bad, just in the past few days. I'm sure that it will go away eventually. I asked my friend (a doctor) about it and she said that it will go away. If it continues to hurt for a long period of time, I recommend making an appointment to further seek help to get rid of it by draining it, or asking the doctor for a prescribed medication to ease the pain and inflammation. Hope this helps!

Hi... umm I'm like freakin out but my earring on he right got hooked on a pillow two days ago and I acxidently pulled it... it was sore for a few seconds then was okay. I have left my earrings in for a very long time after I got them done and last night funnalu took them out and slept with them out... this morning I wanted to put my earrings back in the left one went in fine then the right one has a blister bump sort of thing in the front and back and I can't find the piercing... I'm worried that maybe when I pulled my earring that a blister or sore occurred and now healed over my exposed piercing... please help me because I don't like pain AT ALL like I almost fainted when I got them done so I'm literally freaking out cos I rly don't want to push them back in again but I'm scared that's the only way.... if u have an advice pls help me...

Sounds like a keloid from the trauma; however, cysts can be caused by trauma as the cells inside get trapped and can not shed off like exposed skin. This leads to them collecting into a sac lined ball.

My daughter is 11 years old, and she woke up one morning with a weird lump on her earlobe. She said it's hurting her whole ear. Does anyone have any idea of what this is? It feels like a small rock.
