Hi my name is Catherine . I myself have a cyst in my left ear lobe . About three months ago I went to get it lanced because a nurse told me it was infected! And huge I might add . They did exactly what you stated and the next day it filled right back up. It also started turning blue ! I went back to see what was going on!! They said it was quote"healing"

I'm 19 and seem to have the same problem as you. I had my first one removed by a surgeon on my left ear. Then the same thing happened on my right ear, I was in Madagascar so I just bought antibiotics without seeing a doctor and as you describe, it burst and it's been fine since. I now have one again on my left ear(the one which got operated). I'm in Cambodia at the moment so again I just bought antibiotics and I hope it goes away. All this to say, will it ever stop?? Or will it be like this for the rest of my life? I'd love to hear a bit more about your story! Thanks John

I've had the same thing it's a hard lump in my ear.. it's like extra skin in my ear that Hurts..so since I'm a taxidermist I decided to do surgery myself lol cause I can feel the pain in the lump so what I did was bought brand new nail clippers and on the back of my ear where the bump was I clipped most the meat off the bump and there was like extra cystic white skin in my ear that hurt to the touch so once I got all that out of my ear the pain went away and didn't feel any discomfort. But now I got a hole kinda but I'm just gonna let it heal now :) and put alcohol and neosporin on it.but feels way better no lump at all

much thanks for this detailed response! Seems like I'm on the same track as you, except I've only had the cyst under my earlobe drained once so far. The infection came back this week though so I think I'm gonna have to have it lanced once again. Ughh what a pain!

Best thing to do is buy this ear piercing cleaner it's salt but from the ocean with no minerals and mix with hot water and soak your ear with it until the lump area is gone.. I clipped my bump off and soaked it in this stuff and put neosporin on it now it's gone

I had a large pimple on the bottom of my earlobe (on the flabby part) I also touched it frequently.. Anyways as it started to heal, right where my ear connects to the skin, below is a bump that feels like what the pimple felt like (you could say). Or just a semi hard bump that hurts when you press it. Any idea??
