I am having a weird situation .... I recently got married and for religion reasons I could not have my period during the wedding, so my doc prescribed me a pill (although I hadn't taken one for nearly 12 years), I asked him to prescribe me the same I used to take when I was a teenager to regulate my period as I remember it didn't bother me too much (a few years ago I tried Yasmin and I got really depressed, it was really bad), Anyway, so I took the pill for like 20 days or so, then I let my period come right before the wedding (because a doc said that it was better not let it build up till after the wedding as I could have had some spotting). For the wedding I was completely clean - my next period came EXACTLY a month after I interrupted the pill, like my body was programmed, which is great because my periods varied (29/30/31/32/33 days, it comes when it wants but at least it shows up once / month). Anyway, for 3 months after the period I was getting my period exactly every month at the same day (which was weird for me) but what bothers me is that my periods started being very painful ... I used to have painful periods when I was a teenager but then they started getting less painful although I would still get the painful ones sometimes but now it every month! .... Now I don't understand why my period started getting so painful again.
Anybody had a similar experience?

Sounds like you got the much appreciated menstraul cramps. A way to help you to get rid of that pain is take Midol possibly. Or Ibeuprofin, but for me Midol works best. Also, warm baths or have a warm cloth on where the crampings at. Try and lay down when you can and relax. Also, cinammon supposedly helps, so I suggest lighting a cinammon candle or eating cinammon sticks or something along those lines. Hope you feel better!
