Painful to touch pimple or blister on penis

i have a singuler large red bump on my penis its about half a centimeter in diameter, im pretty sure its just a zist, its feels hard liek theres something stuck under my skin, im positive its not a std because the only time i had sex was over a year ago and with my girlfriend who both of us were virgins untill each other,... im realy worried that thsi bump isent going to go away it seemed to appear over night, its sore and i dont know what to do with it, is it going to go away, how to i make it go away, can i be sure its not some kind of desiese?
i need help so yeah let me know please

i had shaved my penis and about 2-3 months ago i noticed a red bump on the bottom of my shafted right were my balls end and my shaft begins i left it alone thinking it was a in grown hair and then after time i decided to try and removeit i used a hot compress for a few days and tried popping it with a sterile pin and tweezer i had no luck there was no puss but there was alittle blood i decided to leave it alone and now a couple days later it is painful to the touch and it looks like it and grown a second tiny bump were i made the hole with the pin.... can anyone tell me what this could be it cant be herpies because i have had the same gf for 3yrs she has nothing and i hae had back surgery in jun e 09 and have not had sx since this appeared after i shaved the penis i would really like it if anyone has any answers for me

These bumps shouldn't be anything to worry about - I've had quite a few of them. I've got one now, which is why I'm here, but after reading a few posts and looking at pictures, I've consoled myself for the 1000th time that this is not anything to worry about.

The first time I got this bump I was a virgin, but I noticed it was the day after A. I took a 5 mile walk (in summer) and B. pulled this bird (i.e. I had an erection for a long period of time). I was worried, but the next time I got it was also after I had taken a long walk and spent some time making out with a girl. After a while, this pattern continued pretty consistently.

As my penis droops quite a bit when flaccid, I've determined that sweat has formed in the groin area, particularly in the area of my penis that droops and hangs over my testicles, during the exercise. The excess moisture will open the pores in the skin of the penis. When I had the erections for prolonged periods of time, this could have caused my penis to rub up against the inside of my jeans and bacteria could have gotten into the pores, infecting them.

As I sweat a lot to begin with, this seems to be a pretty good explanation for the bump. Of course, I'm not aware of everyone else's situation, but if you can relate to this in any way then hopefully it will help.

I've had about 10 of these in 6-7 years, and each time I've noticed that they will stay until you pop them. I squeeze. But don't push too hard. When it first pops, the pus is white and the more that comes out, the darker it gets until it's blood that comes out. You should get as much pus out without getting any blood. If blood does come out, then a small scab will form and healing time will be prolonged as well as increased chances of a scarring. Sometimes you will have to pop it a couple times over a few days. But again, be CAREFUL not to squeeze too much!!

So here's a little information for all of you out there probably worrying like I was about this.

I noticed a small red bump. Not shiny, not painful either, nor did the skin on the bump look any different than the rest of my skin on my penis. I went to the doc a few weeks ago about this, and I still keep a good check on it just in case because that's what the doc said, but he told me it's basically just a pimple more than likely from sweat or irritation to that specific area. The doc said not to pop it, as it will be best left to go away at it's own rate, but if you MUST pop it, be for-warned of lots of pain and some bleeding. But if the satisfaction of seeing puss come from a pimple makes you think you got rid of it, go ahead. Also make sure that what your seeing is a pimple and NOT an ingrown hair, which can also form on your penis from your pubic hairs, because you won't feel to good trying to pop that =p.

So if anything listed below describes you in some way, more than likely it's just a zit (pimple), or ingrown hair on your penis.

*Very active or Sweat a lot (ex: I skateboard almost 4hours every day so I sweat a lot. This is what I'm told is more than likely where mine came from. )
*Sexually active on a daily basis ( The moisture from vaginal intercourse or from specific lubricates, etc can also cause this )
*Shave a lot down there (This doesn't necessarily cause pimples, but more or less will cause an ingrown pubic hair to form. They ingrown hair bump and pimple on your penis look very similar. Don't confuse them and pop the wrong one =p)
*Change types of or use condoms on an almost daily basis ( Differences in textures and lubricates, etc can cause pimples or ingrown hairs
*You wear a lot of tight fitting clothing or clothing that rubs that area
*You participate in masturbation frequently
*You wear briefs or "tightie whitie" style undergarments ( Try wearing boxers to see if that solves the problem from re-occurring )

I hope this helps you all out. Just make sure before you do anything, you DO SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT YOUR SITUATION. Anything is possible meaning your problem could be something much worse than a pimple or ingrown hair.

Hey I have a similar idea and its really confusing me. Ive had unprotected sex, but thats with my girlfriend of a year and I trust her completely. I havent really talked to anybody else but my girlfriend about this as Ive just found it tonight. Theres a bubble that feels stiff to the touch and is slightly bleeding, the big concern is that its on a vein that runs from the base of my penis inwards. Theres also some sort of rash on my sac that sits closely to it. Could it be a blister from rub from jeans and such? Should I see my doctor asap? Or is it not that serious. A soon reply would be helpful, as Im a bit squirmish when it comes alot of blood, though this concerns me because it sits right ontop of a vein.

Omg I'm so happy this isn't a STD or somethin serious like that I have a red pipple thing on my shaft and Im smart enough not to pop a pimple especially not one on my penis I'm just gonna wait it out. But also I have a bounch of smaller pimples around the base on my penis but I think it's probly irritated skin cause I just shaved and it goes all the way up my no longer exsisting happy trail. But do you have any suggestions on how to make it go away faster

i also have a similar problem... i have a bump on my penis which looks to be a large zit. it red with a white dot on top. its on the underside of my penis and it is sore when i touch it.

I have had one and then got a second one on other side the the first one I let it sit and it was hurting but.not to bad and it.popped on its own and didnt hurt so I took a shower and squezed out the puss not to painful im going to do the same with.the second one
