Hi everyone. My son was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, something which we had been suspecting for a while, but the pedi did not take us seriously at first. I am really glad that my kid is now receiving the medical care that he really needs, but I am also afraid for his future. I want to connect with other parents of children with Type 1 diabetes, and learn about your coping mechanisms, and hear how your kids are handling their diagnosis.
