I have had my period for 2 years now, and the last 4 periods, it's been really heavy for the first 3 days, and on the 3rd day, this 2in long, cm-In wide Goldfish shaped piece of tough tissue comes out. I never have cramps, and it doesn't hurt when this thing comes out. But I do feel it as it's coming out (kind of like pooping in a way). I'm able to wash it off and experiment with it, and if I squeeze the sides of it, a hole opens through the middle. I saw that inside it, it is darker and looks smooth inside. But yeah, it's been coming out looking the same exact shape and size for the 4 times, now 5 since I'm on my cycle now. I'm guessing this is my walls just shedding a big huge chunk at a time, and it must be really close to where the cervix is, or maybe it IS my cervix shedding. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, since I don't feel any pain and it's not a problem trying to get it out. I don't use tampons (never have) and I've never had sex so nothing is ever stuck up there. After it comes out (the big goldfish shaped tissue), my period is lighter, or even stops in some hours. Am I right about what this is? What causes this? Should I be worried? It doesn't seem like a blood clot since if you wash a blood clot, it would break down...
