Pimple, herpes, what is it? Could a hitachi cause this?

Ive recently gotten an outbreak of pimple-like bumps on my genital region, most are contained to the edge of the upper lip of my vagina, but there is a small patch closer to the opening of my genitals. I have looked around online, and they don't look like herpes, but they are painful and highly irritated. A little of the backstory behind the circumstances that have lead to this outbreak, possible TMI alert; I have recently started seeing a new partner, and to be honest, we were a bit dumb. Yes, we DID use condoms, that's not the dumb part. We had been sweaty and hadn't showered before sex, fell asleep, woke up, and had more sex before finally showering. There was also at least one hour of hitachi wand use in the area that is now afflicted, and I'm wondering if this could have been the cause, the combination of sweat, friction, and the pores around my genitals have gotten clogged and formed pimples. I believe the only reason they are half as irritated as they are is because I have been OCD picking at the bumps, causing a few to burst and become raw. I shave down there too, and the hairs are stubbily back in, more irritation from that. He has been tested recently and does get tested often, and came out negative for anything at his last test, I have never been tested for stds, and this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me. I do have a test scheduled for a few days from now just in case, but I just want to set my mind a bit easier, is impossible that these are just pimples from a whole lot of friction on a sweaty, not so clean area?
