Everytime I look up my symptoms: hard/painful tendons, neuropathy, stomach pain, numbness, joint pain, migraines, blah blah and so on....I can't help but notice how everyone else who's been to every specialist known to man with the same symptoms and can't get a diagnosis, always ignores the person who says "stop eating trash/processed foods. It helped me!".
All these people are trying to tell us to change our diet, but no one is listening..... Why? Because we are lazy. We want a diagnosis to confirm our fears and be given medicine to heal our pain the easy way. We want our carbs and our mochas.
The pain is very real. It's debilitating. It's downright infuriating in every way to not get a diagnosis. You get all the blood work and scans, and yet......nothing. You feel foolish and heartbroken each time you get a call saying your test came back normal.
I don't want to go on a strict diet. It sounds boring and hard, but I gotta be honest here.....do I want pain or pizza? These people are probably right. Most of us won't get a MS, RA, Lupus, etc. diagnosis. We will all get a Fibromyalgia diagnosis. I have doctor friends and that diagnosis is just to shut most people up. I'm not saying Fibromyalgia isn't real. The pain is most certainly real. However, our bodies are completely consumed with man-made products, plastics, grains, toxins, etc. Of course some of us are going to be more sensitive to unnatural foods. I mean, we are in fact, animals. We are beings made of the earth and stars, ones meant to eat the bounty of the land....not poison ourselves. We have to eat better and stretch and do yoga and not be lazy.
If changing my diet doesn't work for me....then maybe it is something else. If it doesn't work for you....then maybe it is something else.
So....are you going with pizza or pain? It's up to you.
