I’m interested in if there are drugs that are known to cause pluritis? I have a friend that has had certain psycho-physiological problems. She had treated it and the results were partially good. Anyway she got pluritis that occurred in not known reason. She has to stay in bed. Lost her appetite and looks bad. What I would like to know is drug related pluritis development.

You may be right. I’ve heard that certain drugs like dilantin, procan or hydralazin can cause iatrogenic pleuritis. Iatrogenic is used to name the diseases that are caused by using medicines. You didn’t mention what was the primary problem of your friend. That’s all I know. Try to find more about iatrogenic causes of pleuritis.
