I'm 32. Had tonsillectomy on the 8th of September, 2009. I haven't had any complications but I'm worried about the way the healing is coming along. I think it looks odd on the left side. The right side looks "normal" and smooth but there's something on the left side. I don't know what it is or if it's something to be concerned about and if something should be done.

Is it something they didn't get out? The tonsil on the left side was very low and small so I worried they'd miss it completely but I felt reassured with the huge scabs on both the right and left side. XD There was nothing like what I see now, pre-tonsillectomy. I'm not sure it was there in the first weeks after surgery either.

Hi there, I think that the best thing that you should do is just get a quick consultation after the surgery for this. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about but get a professional opinion on it, okay? And let me know how it goes okay?
