OK, so I had poison ivy pretty bad this week and I usually tough through it but I figured this was a good chance to kill two birds with one stone. My doctor doesn't even want to consider cortisone injections for the throbbing/swelling pain in my arms after wrestling, jiu jitsu, and mma practice (he says it will weaken my joints). But since he believes it is tendonitis, I jumped at the chance to do 5 days of prednisone 60mg daily for my poison ivy, hoping that the reduced inflammation will give my arm a chance to heal up a little.
Now, here are my questions; would anyone recommend any specific exercise to strengthen the tendons while they are not inflammed, to make recovery more likely? I already lift weights a lot, so the info I am getting that 'lifting weights' will help strengthen the tendons does not help, since I have been lifting a lot and get lots of pain for mixed martial arts, please be specific.
Also, I have never done anabolic steroids, but I have been considering an anavar/test propinate cycle with proper PCT based around clomid this summer for a first cycle. I am 24 years old, and have done the research but I am still undecided. How long after this 5 day prednisone should I wait if I do decide to do it?
