Hello, we are the parents of the 5 year old kid who is having some breathing difficulties. Actually, he is snoring. While he is awake, nothing is wrong, but the nights are becoming more and more troubling. We have heard that primary snoring in kids can increase their chance for cardiovascular diseases? Is that true?

Snoring in kids is not something that should be left untreated. There are several conditions that have symptoms like that, including the primary snoring and apnea too. If I were you, I would take the kid to the doctor; respiratory problems are not something the little one should be dealing with at his age. And unfortunately, those health issues could easily get complicated.
