Proteins are usually not present in urine, except some with small molecules. Proteinuria is condition in which greater amount of proteins can pass in urine. When there is a damage of glomerulus in kidneys, proteins can be found in urine. Diabetes, hypertension and inflammations can lead to proteinuria. More commonly, proteinuria is not followed by any noticeable symptoms. It’s the way by which proteins are irreversibly leaving the body by urine, which is pathological condition.

Hi,

This (proteinuria) is a condition in which urine contains an abnormal amount of protein and proteins are very important to our body such as protecting our body from various infections.

Usually proteins are too big to pass through the kidneys but sometimes it is possible, when kidneys aren’t working as they should, that proteins from the blood leak into the urine.

If this happens than it is possible that you suffer from chronic kidney disease but somehow I believe that your doctor has done all the tests he should to determine what is going on in your case. This can be consequence of diabetes, high blood pressure, and diseases that cause inflammation in the kidneys.

I hope that you are just curious about this and that you don’t have any problems regarding this condition.
