Hi, I would like some helping info, please. My brother is scheduled with PTK procedure because of the constant eye problems. I guess I need some details on PTK procedure, will it reduce the pain, when will his vision get back to normal, are additional procedures necessary? Thanks a lot in advance…

PTK is something that will definitely help him and I think that only in ten percent of cases, additional procedure is needed. Also, the pain will be greatly reduced, although he will most probably have to use some pain relievers for a while, perocet or vicodine maybe. Anyway, the post op period should not take more than two weeks max.
