Hi, my father is 68 years old and he has been having problem with his vision. He complained that he does not see well, that everything is blurry. We thought that he might be short sighted, but actually he is suffering from cataract. One of the solution doctor mentioned was surgery. Is there any bleeding following this surgery? I am so afraid of the possible complications…

You have to know that something must be done or else the eyesight won’t improve on its own. Only if some severe complication occurs during the procedure, bleeding might happen. But, it happens so rarely that I can assure you there is nothing to worry about. Most of the methods these days are performed with the use of laser, and this operation too.
