My father is 76 years old. He had cataract surgery (phacoemulsification) for his left eye 4 weeks ago. He was told by the doctor that he might be able to live free from glasses after the surgery. But the results are not as good as what the doctor promised. His left eye is far-sighted 2.0 with 2.0 astigmatism. His right eye is -5.5 near-sighted. He feels dizzy and uncomfortable. I am wondering
1. When it the good time to get glasses?
2. How much the glasses could help him?
3. Will the dizziness go away after wearing glasses?
4. Will his eye condition be getting worse because the differences between his left and right eye sights, one is near-sighted, one is far-sighted with astigmatism?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sincerely
Lee
