I had the same issue for a couple months - turned out to be candida as stated above. I then looked up online for ways to kill off the candida and went on the regieme to kill the candida with my gf - all clear now! Just my two cents! The lady who helped me was also very informative

The Lotrimin AF works great. Just read this last week and got the off brand stuff, dont waste your time with that. Get the actual Lotrimin AF and I saw results after a few hours. Gunna do it for the whole two weeks just to make sure it gets it all away.

I'm a registered nurse this is what I know.  It is a fungal infections AKA yeast infection AKA jock itch AKA thrush

1.  Antibiotics can destroy the good bacteria that keeps the yeast on your bodies under control.  So, it is common to get what you guys are describing after taking a course of antibiotics.

2.  Uncircumcised men have a higher risk for getting this kind of infection because of the extra foreskin allows for moisture to collect and provides a great breeding ground for the yeast to grow

3.  Regular salt with water won't work.  There is something in sea water that helps to get rid of the yeast

4.  Excessive washing with soap will wash away the good bacteria, so using a mild soap and wash just twice a day is the best

5.  Topical lotrim AF is perfect to treat this, but as you read you need to use it for several weeks since the symptom may subside but the fungus is still alive.  It will wait until the right time and pop up again.  That's why some men will say that the red spots will be in the same place as it was before.

6.  If you have it, it is likely your partner has it too, so make sure both are being treated or you will just give it back to each other.

7.  This is not considered a sexually transmitted disease.

Hi I have only had the red spots that scab over for about 2 weeks and haven't had any sexual activity in about 5 months and I am not any antibiotics and is slightly itchy and don't know how to get rid of it. Can someone please tell me what it is and what I should do please?

Could definitely be irritation from shower gel. Skip that stuff down there -- warm water is enough. Wouldn't hurt to get it looked at and to get tested for different types of infections. Hopefully it's just dry/irritated skin and you can remove the shower gel and start using a moisturizer like Man1 Man Oil to help the skin heal.

Hey i had unprotected sex 3-4 days ago and now i have this itchy ness on the tip of penis and forskin aslo there are little red dots on the tip of it. I wanna see if i can treat before going to the doctors any answers? Also not on medication and i think i used a dirty towel.
