Hello, I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and for now I am trying to deal with that just with a strict diet. I have to admit that it is not working that well for me at the moment and I suppose that I will have to start with some medication therapy real soon. So, repaglinide vs. nateglinide, which should be better for diabetes?

I remember there was some analysis done couple of years ago and that those showed that repaglinide is much more effective than nateglinide. I think it was done in 2003 by American Academy of Clinical Endocrinology. It looks like repaglinide reduces HbA1c much effectively that the other drug. But of course, the best choice for you when it comes to diabetes will be made by your doctor.
