I’m 55, female and would like to try something but not knife to smooth my facial wrinkles. I have heard about restylane and several women from my office have already gone for it but am not feeling comfortable to ask them about it. It seems to me effective and I need to know if it is really non-invasive and what exactly is done with that preparation. So, I’d be grateful to hear your experiences with restylane. Else, how long does the effect last; I guess that it’s temporary.

Restylane is gel based on hyalorunic acid that is administered by injection into facial tissue. It smoothes wrinkles and adds volume to folds, but its effects is temporal and lasts about 6 months. Hyalorunic acid is naturally occurring substance in human tissue so allergic reaction rarely occurs. I had one three months ago, and I have to warn you about post-effects, like nausea and flu-like symptoms. I also experienced redness and swelling at the injection points. What’s the most important to me, it doesn’t look artificial, but looks like you had enough sleep, like more youthful version of person.
