Was just wondering if anyone has had the same experience with sesamoiditis as I have: I was diagnosed with sesamoiditis bipartite nearly 2 years ago after an mri scan and multiple X-rays, and since then have tried different courses of tablets including cocodamol and coidene, orthotic insoles, steroid/cortisone injections, rest (none of these have helped in the slightest) and now am currently wearing a boot for 2 months to take the pressure off. This also isn’t helping, and the pain is getting worse by the day. I’ve discussed operating on my foot with a consultant but he has said it is much too risky for where the bone is, and could make things a lot worse. I’m really sporty and active, and only 17 so I’m scared this won’t go away at all. I’ve had to stop all sport which has been hard, just wanted to see if anyone is in, or has been in the same situation as me, as the pain is so bad, and I just want it to go away.
