I had a medical abortion and 5 hrs after, I started bleeding and that lasted for another 3-4 hours with cloths n manageable cramps. I Did take Ibuprofen n I was ok until 5 days later.... The pains and cramps are 9.0 on a scale of 10. The bleeding is reduced but the pain is unbearable... I take ibuprofen like it was chocolate and the moment it wears off, the pain is on a 9 again. Any useful advice or do I run to c a doctor?

Some suggestions for this cramping that may or may not work are: heating pad against abdomen can lessen cramps or hot water bottle. Also, you usually can go the pharmacy at the counter ask someone for the Tylenol 1's with codeine, that will help more than Ibuprofen right now. Also, you want to be careful on your intake of ibuprofen as it can cause stomach pain, issues and ulcers.
