several months ago i have a knee replacement revision. When I woke I could not feel my leg at all but was in very intense pain. I was given very strong pain killing medication for four days by drip and now I am still taking tramadol every four hours. The pain is still very bad and has not got any better postoperative. Most of the numbness still remains. The pain is worse upon trying to get upright. It is now two months since the revision and having undergone eight previous operations on my knee I am quite used to being in constant pain in that area but this does not feel right, I do not understand how the pain is not subsiding at all, at times it is unbearable even with tramadol and paracetamol that I have been prescribed.
