Sex is painful after c-section

I had my son 4 years ago (c-section) I have the same problems in fact they have gotten worst this past year.  I have serve pain while having se and afterward as well as a week before my period and duing my period to the point where I feel as if I'm in labor.  At first it was just during sex but now it's mor painful.  I have sharp pains that feels as if it's in my vagina and in my lower abdomen.  I have been to an obgyn gotten a inner and outer ultrasound and pap test all normal and they told me I need to try a regular doctor so they did a x ray which was normal and now they want to do a cat scan I can't afford a cat scan.  I don't know what to do it's affecting my relationship with my husband and emotionally damaging my thoughts of sex.  I think that I'm at the point where I can say I hate sex.  I get so angry and irritated when I think about it or here the word.  This isn't normal for me I'm happy to have my son and don't regret having him I just want to find the solution before things get worst for me. I use to love sex now I'm scared of it. 

I also has a c section and it has been 6 weeks and I am experiencing the same pain. It feels like he is hitting something inside me that is swollen. I thought the doctors may have done something wrong or something wasnt sitting right inside me...extreemly painful. Has this pain subsided for you?

I had two kids by c-section, after the first i had no problem during sex. and then after my second (he is now 20months old) i dont get that burning sensation all of you are talking about... rather it's like, during deep penetration, it feels like my husband is hitting something (that wasn't there before) and it's so painful. dunno how to describe it... its like he's stabbing me and when i feel the pain it hurts to the point where i have to stop him. i've even dug my fingers into my stomach and experimented-- like i "moved" that painful organ (whatever it is) out of the way and then it wouldn't hurt during sex. on regular times i dont feel it at all. went to the doctors, had ultrasounds done... nothing! they dont know whats up!! :S

yeah im scared of having sex again i just had a csection almost 3 weeks ago it still burns around the spot were the cut me open but i also had my tubes tied too im so scared of having sex again this was my second csection but my first one one was ok but this one is total different is there any hope out there for us woman so we can be happy with ur man again if so write me back

i had my c section , just one month over . my hubby wants tohave sex with me but i am feeling uncomfortable of having sex. plsadvice how can i go for it or having oral sex is advisable.

hey i m also having the same problem i had c section 3 month ago and we waited for 12 weeks for sex and now when my mensuration has stopped we did it but its scary that i had vagial bleeding...even thoug there is no pain anywhere but i m having a lil bit bleeding during sex.

 

i thnk u shld wait for atleast 10 weeks....and ya becous you dint have sex from very long time so it may hurt lil bit in starting but after that it ll be ok

Read dr.jentry. post about the muscles getting knots in your vagina and your nerves being messed up and different shoots to loosen up the muscles

I had my daughter 2 months ago and i waited 6 weeks to have sex and its been verry painfull my doctor said its normal but i had a c section so i don't understand how its normal to hurt during sex

I had my daughter c-section she is now 14 months old and its so uncomfortable for me to have sex. The pain and burning sensation afterwards. What could it be it ,good to know I'm not along on this. If anyone know the problem feel free to share.

Oh my gosh! I thought I was alone. I am 23 years old with two little ones spaced two years apart. After having my oldest, things were fine. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. My second pregnancy was awful. Morning sickness throughout, gestational diabetes so bad that I was on insulin, etc. Sex while pregnant was impossible. It hurt too bad. I had myself checked out down there while pregnant because of the pain, they said everything was fine.

Thirteen months AFTER having my second child, sex is awful. The burning sensation hangs around even after we have stopped having sex. The first thing I did, obviously, was get checked for every STD under the sun (not that I have ever cheated on my husband but its better to rule everything out). My doctor recommended the STD check which was a little scary. Needless to say, I don't have anything wrong. So the next thing they did was an inter-vaginal ultrasound and an abdominal ultrasound. 

They came back completely normal.

At this point, I am depressed because I am beginning to loathe sex and cringe at the thought of it. Our marriage is suffering because of it. One thing my doctor did try to blame was my weight gain from my pregnancies. In all I gained 80lbs but I have been this heavy before and sex was never an issue. The pain literally has killed my sex drive. :-(

I am experiencing the same thing! My DD will be 3 January 26th and it just started this past year! It feels swollen down there!! I even put my finger in ther and feels like something is not suppose to be there! I gained 25 pounds during pregnancy and lost every bit plus some! I just dont know what to do!!!! Next step Dr Appt!!

I.can not find any advice on what I'm experiencing... I had a cesarean a little over a well ago she yes I have sex last night. It was painful but then it went away and it was fine. Today however I'm cramping which I know I brought on myself before anyone says it. I just want to make sure this is normal to be feeling like this? I'm not bleeding its just the cramping. Sorry but I could not wait! But we both agreed will wait a while before attempting this again. Advice appreciated!

Me and my love just had sex and it was (Tony The Tiger) Great! And she had our Bby two weeks ago and we had sex now she has a bump on the inside were the c section was ...what could that be? Anyone know?

Has anyone found out the cause of this? I had twins via c-section 10 weeks ago and have this problem.
