I had a vaginal hysterectomy on Feb.1. I have been feeling terrific and had sex with my husband last night (2 weeks post-op)...........I am bleeding today...........not soaking through a pad but definitely needing one. I am embarrassed to call my doctor now for fear that I've done damage to his surgery and worried that I'll need to go back to the hospital.....what do I watch for now or should I call him right away?

Go back to the doctor. He won't be mad you botched his operation, trust me. Doctors are happy to make more money off you. :-)
