I had a huge bone spur removed from my left shoulder at the end of May. I started physical therapy a week later. I starting improving immediately. The only pain I had was some soreness from the physical therapy. My range of motion was over half improved within two weeks. I felt great. Five weeks after surgery, I now have really sharp pains in the shoulder, tenderness to touch, and burning in the shoulder. I can't move the shoulder very much without a great deal of pain. I cannot sleep at night because of the pain. The range of motion is very limited now. The physical therapist will not even treat me until I see the doctor again. Can anyone tell me if this is normal and if not, what could be the problem?
