Hi there,
You should’ve written us something more about your condition not just the topic name. However I will tell you as much as I know about Thyroxine. Thyroxine is used to treat underactive thyroid, also known as hypothyroidism. The thing is that this medication replaces thyroid hormone which should be produced by our thyroid. But with hypothyroidism the production of thyroid hormone is lowered or stopped completely. You can experience hair loss in first months of therapy. You can also notice increased sweating, mood changes and more sensitivity to heat. Sometimes you will have problems with tiredness and diarrhea along with headaches and shortness of breath. Also you might experience dizziness from time to time.
All the best,
Danella
