I have heard for hypothyroidism, which is a condition that body lacks sufficient thyroid hormone. Since the main purpose of thyroid hormone is to run the body's metabolism, I found it understandable that people with this condition will have symptoms associated with a slow metabolism. I know this since my neighbor has problem with hypothyroid disease. I found him some way slow, so I wanted to hear an explanation. Can you tell me more about this problem hypothyroid disease?
