I have a small hard purple colored bump on the outside of my right labia. It does not hurt or feel tender. It does not fit any description regarding STD's and have not been sexually active for some time.

I have this too! I went to my doctor who told me its probably a blocked gland. She's referred me to my local hospital as she said it would be better to remove it as it is getting bigger and is now purple (it used to be skin colour).

Could be endometriosis, get checked out and suggest this as a possibility. A lot of doctors jump to conclusions and will tell you it's an STD.

Endometriosis does not have visible/external symptoms. The only way to diagnose endometriosis is with lapriscopic surgery. Dont get all in a panic.

I have something similar and just got back from my gynecologist to have it checked. Was told that it was a pimple that had blood under the skin. She told me I probably scratched it which made it bleed under the skin and thats what caused the color. Told me it was nothing to worry about and should go away on its on. Suggested warm water if it helps to feel better.
