I've noticed these awhile ago but only started getting concerned recently when I noticed how many of them there are, primarily near the base. They are small and mostly flat and are only really visible when the skin is stretched (such as during an erection) or if you're looking for them.

I wasn't really that bothered by them (I have one or two similar ones on my fingers) until I read something about how STDs that cause warts with similar descriptions can be transmitted through skin to skin contact. I've never had sex, dry sex, or any other kind of thing that could have "sex" labeled to it, but is it possible this is an STD transmitted through this unspecified "skin to skin" contact?

Thanks

Possibly....but have your diagnosis of genital warts been confirmed or are you speculating that this is what you have. If in fact there is a concern about spreading, you've got to get a firm answer from your doctor. There are genital warts that are not associated with an STD. Check that info out with the doctor too. Be sure to practice good hygiene, especially while you are waiting to hear what the doctor has to say. Good luck and let us know how it goes for you.
