Hi;

I'm new.

Well-I have shaved/waxed/used depilatory creams on my genital area for years and always had problems-my skin's really sensitive. I had a horrible follicle infection a few years ago that even put me in hospital, and I've had a boil there after a bad reaction to a hair removal cream.

I've shaved too close and made my skin really sore, recently but even though I've not had any really bad problems, shaving more carefully and my boyfriend helping me, I've noticed that I have bumps, irregular in shape, same colour as my flesh. They don't hurt, they do have nerve endings in them though-they don't itch, they're just like raised bumps, part of the skin-kind of like a skin tag but don't stand out so far from the skin. I'm terrified I've got warts :( but given that my skin's so sensitive and I shave almost daily-they could also be infected folicles or Molluscal infections (sic)... I've got two on my vulva area -they're tiny and you can't notice them unless you properly look, and I've got one on the very top of my leg-that one has been bothering me as it catches on my knicker line and rubs when I wear leggings. I can't get to the GP for a good few days but I think I am going to pluck up the courage to go and ask if it could be warts and if it isn't, what on earth it actually is. Anybody any ideas?I've googled pictures of shaved labia and noticed that a lot of girls skin seems to be irregular and have bumps and lumps under the skin.... My boyfriend says it's probably nothing and he doesn't think it looks like warts. I don't know :(

Anyone help?

I've googled them now, and I spoke to some girlfriends last night-they even had a look!One of them said she's actually HAD warts and these aren't warts. She said that they're so tiny I just being paranoid. Shaving's made my skin on my 'crack' (lol) really sore, though. I hate it-I run a lot and felt I was up to it today but think I've irritated the skin on my undercarriage and it hurts more now-I've squatted over a mirror and everyting LOOKS fine, but feels very sore. I've put anti-septic cream on. Ive had so many issues through shaving-I was even in HOSPITAL once after my infected follicles spread and I had to be on an anti-biotic drip! I'm terrified of getting that again :( maybes I've chapped the skin.

When you run do you wear the tight lycra running shorts or leggings?

Usually leggins-sometimes track pants but only if my leggings are in the wash. I think I may have thrush which is why I feel sore-can thrush make you feel sore all up your crack, though ?
I've driven a LOT recently wearing leggings and also I've had a swim in a chlorinated pool which could have cause that I think.

I was going to say could be a sweat rash from the synthetic fiber and i bet your undies are synthetic to and not cotton
If you had thrush surely you would be getting a discharge though!

I've not noticed a discharge per se, but since this has been going on I've not worn knickers!I just had flowy pants on or PJS-I've not been out all day apart from on my run-when I DID wear synthetic knickers you're right. Even though I've not 'seen' a discharge I've felt like I have one if you know what i mean, like felt the bubbling sensation you get when you have thrush. I'll get some cream tomorrow for it and hope it clears it up. I've put coconut oil on it already and anti-septic cream.

Thanks so much for replies both!
