I just had my period 2 weeks ago and am now having a mucus like pink tinged discharge like I did when I lost my mucus plug during pregnancy. I am not pregnant or don't think I am. The last time I had sex was month ago, my fiance slipped up one day and ejaculated in me and we have been using the pullout method other than that one time when he slipped up and I got my period after that. I have been pregnant before and got my period and when it was due the next month, didn't get it. That hasn't happened to me since. I have 5 kids and the only one that I got my period for the first month was with my first. I took a pregnancy test before getting my period and it was negative. There is no odor and no cramps with it and my nipples have been a little sore on and off. Any ideas of what this could be.

:idea: Ok for those of you with IUD's I had to have mine pulled out after 3 years. The reason why is because it was causing my cramping to get way worse and it was a non-hormonal copper one. It was also causing PID (pelvic infamitory disease) basically every time I would have sex it would rub and catch and I would randomly start to spot immediately or by the next morning. Nothing worse than having my man turn on the light and look at me and say "You started bleeding again" Big Fat Huge mood ruiner.
Now here is my problem I get the mucus ovulation thing. But three weeks ago I had an alergic reaction to Penicillian and I understand that can mess with my pill the prob is that instead of getting my period (which this started the same day i was due to get)
I ended up with a clear oderless mucus with very little spotting I am so confused. I have one child and have been using condoms but I think one ripped and he didnt tell me. He has been acting different lately. Here it is two days later and and this is almost gone only two tampons and I had to switch to a pantyliner. For the whole two days. Ok so I've just stopped taking my pill for about a month now and have had 1 complete cycle simce. I'm 20 and not had any kids . my period was shorter this time which I have put down to the fact of not being on the pill anymore... Anyway after going to the loo I wiped and a thick brown slimy mucous was there on the tissue? It was quite a lot to me around the amount of a teaspoon I guess. It doesn't have a smell. Its worrying me. I don't think I'm pregnant and don't have any symptoms of yeast infection std's or water infection... Please can someone put my mind at rest

I Am 15 yeas of age and I strated my period when i was 13. They were normal at first then went all weird. They were normal for the first 2 months then they stopped for about 4 months and came back extremely heavy. I had to leave school everyday for about 8 days. I was also wearing 2 night pads and blood still came through. Ever since my period was irregular, but it's goin on 3 years now. Now I usually get my period every 4 to 6 months and my body is not being cleansed. Also I've been getting yellowish discharge and all the symptoms of of a period but nothing. No I am not sexually active, so I have no clue what's goin on with my body. It is also hard for me to lose weight. Can someone please help !

hey i am 18 i am not on the pill but i had my perioud for 2 days heavy then one day extreamly light then one day off then one more extreamly light and then i am done. this is normal for me. i usualy have the mucusy pinkish tint for like a day then im done. well me and my boyfriend tryed to have sex. it was protected and i bleed so much. but when we were done it stoped bleading. i still have the pink mucisy stuff and i am wondering if i should go to the dr or duche or just ignore it. and i have been fealing a pain in my lower 2 ribs the entire time at first it was cramps but it wont go away unless im laying down. please help i dont want to panic my bf by him having to take me to the obgyn

I just wanted to thank eeryone, your replies have helped me. I am 16 and on the nuva-ring. I havnt gotten my perscription filled in about 2 weeks, so I thought it may just be my body reacting to not having it. But I am on anti-biotics to get rid of a sinus infection, I have been eating a ygurt almost everyday. But I have been itching ALOT and noticed that my vaginal lips look swollen. So, today I wiped and my discharge was a very light pink, and very think and kind of, "bouncy"? I guess you could say, like mucus almost, or the sticky stuff they put on letters to attach maybe a, credit card, per say. It is the thickest I have ever seen it. Is it a yeast infection?

Hi Karlyr, I stopped wearing my patch about 3 weeks ago now, and lastnight I noticed the same thing when I went to the bathroom. It was a big lump of egg white cervical mucus that was really stretchy and it was tinted brown. Like the previous person said, it looks like ovulation bleeding. Our bodies have started ovulating again. I also noticed yesterday that I had cramps,abit like period pains so I take it this is ovulation pains.

Hi hun, it sounds like cervical mucus to me, I had the same type of mucus last night. If you have a lot of itching and your lips are swollen I would go see your doctor about that,that may be an infection to the birth control etc. x
