I have read a number of posts regarding the feeling that something is stuck in your throat. I have had this feeling for two weeks. I went to a clinic and was prescribed penicillin for a strep throat but the feeling of something in my throat doesn't go away. I am sometimes hoarse but not always. Interestingly, when I eat and swallow the feeling is not as pronounced but when I drink water or clear liquids and swallow it is ever present. Sometimes I wake up gagging as well. Could this be throat cancer?
