Unfunny and cruel. Get a life and stop trying to kick people while they're down while hiding behind anonymous comments. Lame.

Zenith, thank you so much for taking the time to share this. I have been googling for a few weeks on and off looking for information on what i can do about these pimple / welt / hives that are apearing all over my upper torso. Obviously i know the cause and remidy - stop smoking and drinking the meth. And i know it's time for me to take back control, rather than it make the decisions. Reading your comments have given me the strength to finaly look into what its doing to the rest of my body. Previously I avoided research becauase I know ill be horrified with what Ill read, and as i didnt want to stop using, i didnt want 'knowledge' taking the shine away from my buzz. And then worse, if i struggle to stop, (im trying to be an opened eyed realest not a pessimists ) the slippery slope of self loathing, A: letting it take control & B that i would continue to harm my body knowing what it will do. Anyhow, now im rambling, I just wanted you to know that the time and effort you put in to your input has helped at least one person turn around and start heading in the right directin.
Many thanks & positive energy out to you, maggie

impetigo does not look like bumps you get from meth. you people are giving information out here that is not even accurate, you are guessing and it sounds like most of you dont even use the drug. so how would you know? you are guessing? oh thats just great for the rest of us who need the correct answer and not some guess by people who think all meth users are disgusting pieces of c**p. this makes me sick. get your facts straight because giving out the wrong information could result in someones death.

My sister has what you are talking about. Large puss filled abscesses. I don't think its the same as what the other answers are talking about. These lumps are filed with a very contagious puss. She has to go to the hospital to have them drained. She is a drug addict but it is more the fact of the dirty community of people she is around. This issue is spread by contact and once it lives in your body you can't get rid of it. Similar to a herpes virus, you will break out and then it will live dormant. She has now passed it on to a boyfriend and her teenage son. I told her to please don't touch me or any of my kids.

Sorry I disagree with you. There no way that you can inhale shoot it or any way use this poisoning it come trough your skin, its the sweat trying to keep up with the blood flow that is wide open as the adrenalin is speeded up also. It causes the sweat to wash away a chemical our body has to keep our skin oiled.N O offence , thanks, popa d

Note: my answers are based on research I've conducted on both popular and acidemic sites, not any formal teaching, as well as based on person experience and the experiences of those in my life. Use my answers as a starting point for your own, serious research and never take the word of a form post as fact.
Get to the doc asap. Go TODAY to a walk-in clinic or an e.r., if you're not comfortable going to your primary doc or cannot be seen today. Heck, I'd go to the E.R. as my first choice as they can immediately begin on site antibiotic and other treatments (by iv for example) if your case is bad enough to warrant it (and it sure sounds bad).
Peroxide, according to the label, should not be used in deep wounds, neither should bactein or antibiotic ointment but let's be honest, we HAVE to wash before we bandage. I've used peroxide but made SURE that none of it stayed in the deep sores by giving a GENTLE squeeze or in some cases (not recommended) a q-tip. Cover with gauze or a band-aid, assuming you have no allergies to to them like a problem with surgical tape; cover tightly enough to keep them clean but with a little wiggle room for air to get at the wounds which, i my experience, speeds healing.
Here in the US they CANNOT report you to authorities for seeking medical treatment (but don't be stupid about it, leave your stash at home) and the worst you'll face is the well-meaning social worker who is bound to show up and offer you a drug treatment program. You might receive somewhat less sympathetic treatment from the medical workers... that seems to be a trend faced by drug users seeking medical treatment, though from personal experience the more up front you are about what drug you've done (especially if you say how much you regret it!) the more sympathetic the treatment.... it's trying to fool them that seems to get their ire.). As the medical proffession's awareness of drug abuse as a medical problem rather than a personal shortcoming increases, the treatments received by users has been improving.
As for your self-prescribing, keep in mind different antibiotics work better against different infections, that's why there are so many, you need the RIGHT ONE or a) it just won't work b) it'll work, but temporarily c) (I think) you're contribution to the super-bug/super-infection crisis we hear about by teaching your individual infection how to NOT respond to antibiotics.
But those wounds, that deep, are already in trouble. Based on limited research on the topic (so I recommend you do more research on your own, if I haven't talked you into a doctor's treatment yet), they could become infected by staph (and may already be) and cause sepsis, which is life threatening.
Also, let's be real, the faster you heal (or better job you do of NOT increasing the size of the wounds) the less permanent scarring you'll be trying to explain away for the rest of your life.
PRO TIP: When using wash your face A LOT (perhaps keep pre-medicated face cleansing towels around, and use them every few hours on your face, neck, and even arms. Mirrors are NOT your friend; I have friends who actually TIME each other in the bathroom to make sure they don't get "stuck" in the mirror which leads to picking.. The itching you feel is actually hallucinatory, ignore it. If you see something like a REAL ingrown hair or regular pimple, wait til you've come down and SLEPT before poking around at it. Don't touch the speed bumps if you can help it and if you can't.. PUT A DAMN BAND-AID ON THEM as they develop, even the little round guys, to remind your itchy fingers "do not touch",
