My period ended 14 days ago and I have been spotting every day since (spotting for 14 days). I had a D&C in April and a normal period in May (no spotting after). Has this ever happened to anyone?

It's happened to me a bunch of times. Spotting is common, and usually not cause for alarm. Are you taking birth control? If so, many times that is the culprit. If you miss pills, etc. you're telling your body to start your menstrual cycle and sometimes your body gets out of whack. Changing pills can cause spotting too.

It really is pretty normal, but if it continues you should rule out other problems by seeing a doctor. You know your body better than anyone! :-)

I am not currently on birth control. My husband and I are trying to conceive at the moment.

i spoke to my doctors office and they told me to call back if it continues for multiple periods. It just wanted to see if anyone else ever experienced it and what was causing it.

Hi cga, yeah, what you are experiencing is actually not that uncommon. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like implantation spotting unless the discharge that you're talking about has a specific color that doesn't look like regular spotting? I'm just curious but how long have the two of you been trying to concieve? It usually takes about a year so I think patience is a good idea. Let me know how you're doing and keep us posted on how you're doing!

I had a miscarriage and D&C in early April 2009, and we started trying to conceive after I completed my first cycle post-d&c. I had my period June 13-15, and I am still spotting. I wouldn't think it would be implementation spotting since i've been spotting since my period ended. I am still waiting to ovulate this month, and I am on cycle day 18 (I usually ovulate around cycle day 20)

Just wanted to let you know the same thing is happening to me. I had a miscarriage, then a normal AF, and since then - I've been spotting almost every day. I haven't actually ovulated yet either. I called the doctor to ask if it's ok, and they never called me back. So, I made an appointment to check it out since that's easier then actually getting a hold of someone!
