Hey everyone I am new to this website but I need some information. 3 days ago I hade surgery because I was having severe pain in my lower right abdomen. The ultra sound was inconclusive because they couldn't see my right ovary and thought it was twisted and cutting off the blood supply. So I got wheeled into general surgery. Put totally under. When I got out of surgery the doc said my urine test results came back and I don't have a UTI like he thought I had but that I have a staph infection in my urine! Other than that I wasn't given any other information about it and the surgeon and my doctor are out of town for the holiday weekend. My belly pain went away so now I am just dealing with the insision pain. ( I had free fluid that didnt evaporate on its own and thats what was causing the pain! ) My entire stomach hurts sooo bad to go pee and so does my right low flank area in my back! I have taken everything the docs said to take including the peridium, pain meds, ibu, tylenol and macrobid. I was even given valium to help with rest but nothing is working. My kidney hurts soooooo bad. My temp yesterday was staying under 100.0. Today it's still under 100.0 fluctuating between that and 97.2. What should I do and has anyone else had this staph in their urine??? Should I be worried it's spreading?
