I am a 55 year old female and have been very thin all my life. I exercise 5 days per week on an elliptical machine and watch what I eat (I have never been a big eater). For the past six months (+/-) i have noticed that my stomach is swelled as if I were pregnant - which I'm not. I had a partial hysterectomy at age 24 so obviously pregnancy is out of the question. I don't suffer from any pain but am a bit uncomfortable as I am unable to wear any of my clothes for a while, especially pants. What, if anything, could be causing this and what, if anything can I do to correct the problem.
I am wondering if certain medications could be causing this problem. I have been taking two different medications since 1991, i.e. Klonopin and the anti-depressant, Doxepin. Could these medications be a part of my problem?
Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Sincerely,
Marty
