I was on the birth contol pill for almost 8 years and I finally decided to stop taking the birth control pill and that was on the on the 13th of November it is now Dec 3 and still no period. I've taken a test and it said negative. How do I know if I am ovulating or if I even am. My husband and I want to start trying but I don't know if it possible right now. I started having a brown mucus discharge when I pee, but it doesn't hurt there's no itch, nothing! What is going on? My husband and I did have sex about 1 week ago from today and I started noticing this about 2 days ago. Is there a chance I may be pregnant or must I wait a little longer for a pregnancy test to show? Anyone have advice or know anything??

I heard that your body needs time to get used to the fact you're not on the pill anymore (especially after 8 years) but hey i'm not an expert :/ you can buy ovulation tests just like pregnancy tests. It's always possible to get or be pregnant even if you're on the pill, but it doesn't sound like you are pregnant. Nothing shows a week on anyway, so either wait at least 2 more weeks or see your doctor if you're worried. good luck (:
