sudden, infrequent shooting pain in my head

I have the same issue but I experience it in random spots all over my head, I am just glad it has never happened when I am driving because it is so intense, I react w/o hesitation, every once in a while it lasts at least 30 seconds.

The same exact thing is happening to me, except I'm not overcoming and pneumonia, I just have a weird cold. I'm only 14, and I have really bad anxiety and panic attacks. I think I'm constantly dying which is bad, and on top of that I look everything up! I don't know if this is normal, or if I should go to the doctors. I've been under a lot of stress lately, and I'm sick, so I'm not sure if that is what's causing this. I don't know, I'm just really freaked out, and I'm scared to go to sleep because I don't want to not wake up.

Hi are you sure pains with infra red signals and satelite signals? i suppose your gonna say radio waves do it too that would mean to sort it you would have to basically dissapear off the face of earth, i wish there were some more concrete ideas here, i have recently been experiencing the problem around the temple just above my right ear shoots to the back of my head at first i thought it sorta felt like a blood vessel being pressed too hard. if i catch it in time with my hand i can sorta feel a pain in the same area but after seconds the pain both mental and physical (touching it) is gone so im unsure if it can be helped no pills or recreational drugs help. usually cannibis helps me to relax and in the past with toothache and back pain and even colds this has been true but for this it occurs even when im relaxing, a friend suggested my sleeping habits may have a factor but im yet to change them drastically enought to hypothesise, any other suggestions are nice i suppose but i dont think a scan is a good idea if it is to do with radiation from devices..

I have these pains also, I used to take antidepressant meds when i was a young child and for years afterwards. I dont know if there is a link there, but thought that there was when i saw a movie that talked about it. I cant remember the name of it but the guy that plays in the TV show scrubs is the main character, and says he has lightening headaches after having had many medications that I have tried also.

um... im a 15 year old male and it started last year when i threw a football really hard... and when it first happened i had to sit down and stop playing. now it happens every once in a while like every other month. im not exactly sure. and i just had one like five minutes ago it was a sharp temp pain from the back of my head my neck and up towards my head. it happened after shaking my head. i really want to know what it is because. it kinda feels like its bleeding or something

 

I have the exact same problem I was every concerned as I am on Vikaden for the pain if I am at work it will bring me to my knees the pain is so savere but it lasts for as long as it takes me to blink and its dead center of my head kinda feels like a drill going into my head..!

did you ever find out what this pain was? I've had it since I was a young teen and still have them infrequently.

I'm only 15 and it happens 3-6 a week it feels like blood is rushed up my head and it only lasts about 2-4 second bit does it hurt. I havent told anyone about because I would like to known what you guys have found out about your pain issues.

Maybe this is caused by an ear infection do to it allways beeing near the ears lob

I just started getting these shooting pains in my head and down my neck. Mine last anywhere from 2-30 minutes. It sounds like everyone on this thread has received some kind of medical advice but that for the most part the doctor doesn't know what it is? Is there any point then for me to go see a doctor or get an MRI?

I have been experiencing the same for about 2 months now. Were you ever given a DX for the complaint?

i have been having these pains for quite a while now but the pain in unbearable. I find it hard to cope with this pain, also find it hard to walk straight. When i have these pains i normally have little fits while having them, its more of the flick of the arm than anything else.

man me to , I am 31 and also not a female, and not on any medication, and i get them to and also spit blood , the doctors cant figure it out, hell hope i don't kill over lol
